Rev. Joe McNulty

Senior Pastor

Joe and Lisa McNulty began their ministry at Lakewood Church of the Nazarene in October 2003.  Joe’s previous ministry experience includes pastorates in South Carolina, Georgia and Alabama.  He also worked for almost 20 years at the Children’s Hospital of Alabama.  Joe has held many positions on the districts that he has served including District Secretary in both Alabama and Colorado.  In 1997, he was chosen as The “Chaplain of the Year” for the Church of the Nazarene.  His education includes degrees in Religion and Psychology and he has extensive training in the field of grief and crisis intervention.

Lisa has a wonderful gift of “Intercerary Prayer”, She enjoys leading prayer ministries and encouraging people to draw close to the Lord through prayer.

Pastor Joe and Lisa have a married son, Joseph and he and his wife Mendy serve on staff at The Battlefield Parkway Church of the Nazarene in Ft. Oglethorpe, Georgia. They also have a beagle dog named Butch.

Rev. Chris Bartholomew

Associate/Youth/College Pastor

Chris moved to Lakewood in the summer of 2005 and absolutely loves Colorado.  He was born and raised in Tulsa, OK and recieved his education at Southern Nazarene University in Bethany, OK.  He enjoys working in youth ministry and has been doing so since 1998.  When he is not working with teens or at church, Chris can usually be found at a local Starbucks or out on his motorcycle enjoying the life that God has graciously provided.  His desire is help young people realize that there is more to life, a better life, than the world would have for them if they would only trust in the Lord and die out to self.

Carol Alberts

Children’s Pastor

Pastor Carol grew up at Lakewood  Church of the Nazarene and has a love and passion for our congregation.  She has worked in the Children's department for the last 9 years.  Pastor Carol was Director of Early Childhood Development for 5 years and in May 2007, joined our staff as the Children's Pastor.  She ignites enthuaism with her love for Jesus and mission to share Christ's love with our children. 

Rev. Roger Young

Associate/Pastoral Care Pastor

Roger Young is a retired minister who serves the church as a minister of pastoral care.  Many of his assignments take him to hospital rooms, nursing homes, or homes in the community.  He began his work as a staff minister at the Lakewood Church in 1974.  He has previously been a senior pastor in the Church of the Nazarene and a grief facilitator for Lutheran Hospital.
