Meet our Pastor

Pastor Brian's journey is a story of God's grace and a commitment to serving the Church. Born in Lakewood, Colorado Brian's dad was on staff here at Lakewood Nazarene in the 1970s as the youth, college and worship pastor so Pastor Brian really feels at home!

 

Brian accepted a call to full-time ministry while in college at Southern Nazarene University where he met his wife, Sarah. They married in 1996 and have four children. Mia (26) who is married to Michael Arseneau and they have a 3-year old son named Ezren, Jackson (23) who is married to Toni, Benjamin (20) is a sophomore at Olivet Nazarene University and Olivia (15) is a freshman in high school.

 

Pastor Brian spent his first 8 years of full-time ministry as a youth pastor in Duncan, Oklahoma and Colorado Springs, Colorado. His dedication to pastoral ministry began in Woodland Park, Colorado where he served as the lead pastor of Woodland Park Church of the Nazarene for 15 years. Next he pastored at One Church of the Nazarene in Houston, Texas for almost 5 years and began here at Lakewood in the role of lead pastor in October 2024.

 

Beyond his role as pastor he enjoys golf, disc golf, playing chess and spending time with his family.
